Techcreators partnered to transition the early exterior concept of the Coris endoscope sterilisation platform from initial design intent through detailed engineering and ultimately into production-ready manufacture. Building upon the original enclosure direction, Techcreators developed a complete mechanical design package that translated concept geometry into robust production tooling and scalable manufacturing outcomes.
Operating within the medical device environment introduced a highly demanding set of constraints. Material compatibility requirements, cleaning and sterilisation considerations, product usability expectations, and manufacturing limitations all required careful integration throughout development. Through close technical collaboration and disciplined engineering execution, these challenges were navigated to realise a refined enclosure system capable of meeting both functional and production objectives.
Techcreators worked in close partnership with internal teams at Nanosonics throughout the development process to support efficient decision-making, accelerated iteration, and timely transition into manufacture. Support also extended into prototype component sourcing and procurement to complement internal development capability and maintain program momentum.
Beyond enclosure development, Techcreators contributed to the innovation and engineering of several core fluidic connector systems critical to device operation. These connectors required the reliable management of multi-channel fluid connectivity and sealing within tightly controlled usability constraints. Particular focus was placed on long-term durability, chemical compatibility, service life performance, and intuitive interaction—ensuring the final solutions supported both product reliability and broader commercial success.
The result was a highly resolved medical device platform where industrial design intent, precision mechanical engineering, and production readiness converged to support dependable clinical performance at scale.
Use case of the device and material compatibility requirements set many restrictions on the production design, these were successfully navigated to see the realisation of the final parts in production. Techcreators work in extremely close consultation with Nanosonics internal teams to ensure timely and well-considered realisation of the project into mass production. Techcreators also assisted in the procurement of prototype components to complement the client's internal capability.
