Myriota’s low Earth orbit satellite communications network required the development of a robust, plug-and-play terrestrial antenna platform capable of seamless deployment by partner organisations operating in demanding environments. The product needed to combine communication performance, environmental resilience, and production readiness within a highly refined and manufacturable hardware solution.
Techcreators worked in close partnership with Myriota’s RF and electrical engineering teams to navigate complex multidisciplinary challenges and translate advanced technical requirements into a commercially deployable product. This collaboration enabled the successful integration of mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing considerations into a cohesive design prepared for scaled production.
A key engineering challenge centred on developing an ultrasonically welded enclosure architecture that maintained user access to replaceable batteries while satisfying stringent ingress protection requirements, including environmental validation under simulated full-device submersion conditions. Balancing long-term durability, serviceability, and manufacturability required careful consideration across enclosure design, sealing strategy, assembly methodology, and production controls.
Techcreators’ involvement extended across the full product development lifecycle—from concept generation and industrial design through detailed engineering, rapid prototyping, production tooling, supplier engagement, and ultimately transition into mass manufacture.
