Multimedia Display Cabinet
Developed in collaboration with Collider for Commonwealth Bank, this project explored new approaches to customer engagement through the creation of mobile, customer-facing experiences that brought together physical artefacts and digital storytelling.
The concept centred on transforming historical objects and curated content—preserved over decades—into engaging and memorable brand interactions. Envisaged for temporary deployment throughout Commonwealth Bank headquarters and public-facing environments across Australia, the exhibition cabinets were designed to create moments of discovery and connection for both visitors and employees while reflecting the evolution and heritage of the organisation.
Flexibility and ease of operation were central to the design approach. The cabinets were engineered to support rapid interchange of both physical artefacts and digital media, enabling efficient content refreshes and adaptation between locations without compromising presentation quality or user experience.
Techcreators was engaged as a turn-key delivery partner responsible for translating the experience vision into a deployable product platform. Scope included mechanical design of the cabinet system, electrical integration, development of the digital content display architecture, and end-to-end management of procurement and assembly across custom-fabricated and off-the-shelf hardware.
The final outcome was a refined, transportable exhibition experience that blended storytelling, industrial design, and digital interaction to create engaging and adaptable brand moments across multiple locations.
